This listing is for a knitting pattern for a hat, not an actual hat.
**********************************************************************
When I completed Marilyn’s Cowl, I realized to my delight that I had enough yarn remaining to design a hat to match! Much like her cowl, Marilyn’s Hat is a simple design, intended to be accessible by all knitters, including beginners. But despite it’s simplicity, the overall effect is luxurious because of the nature of the yarns used. To make the hat, two strands of Marianated Yarns Ava lace are held together with one strand of Aerie mohair and one strand of Perfection gradient. As the hat progresses, darker hues of the gradient are used, allowing the ombré effect to unfold.

Building Your Gradient
To create Marilyn’s Hat, you will always hold two strands of the Ava Lace together with one strand of Aerie and one strand from the gradient set. The ombré effect is achieved by replacing the strand from the gradient set as work on the hat progresses.
